Barcelona have officially confirmed the sale of Arthur Melo to Juventus for a fee around £75M before announcing the arrival of Miralem Pjanic from Juventus for £60million.

The La Liga giants tweeted the news of the departure of Arthur to Juventus on Monday afternoon shortly before announcing the arrival of Pjanic to the Camp Nou.

Arthur will continue the 2019/20 season with Barcelona before leaving for Juventus for an initial £66million fee that rises to £75m.

The 24-year-old Brazilian have spent two seasons at Barcelona and played 72 games since arriving from Gremio scoring four goals.

Pjanic on the other hand is making a switch to the Camp Nou for a £55m fee which will rise up to £60 million according to reports from Daily Mail.

Miralen Pjanic has signed a contract with Barcelona that will keep him at the Camp Nou until the end of the 2023-24 season with a staggering £365 million buyout clause inserted in his contract.

The 30-year-old Bosnian,  just like Arthur, will complete the season at Juventus before joining his comrades at Barcelona after the season.

Arthur is reportedly believed to have signed a five-year-deal with Juventus that’ll see him earn twice his £84,000 a week wages he earned at Barcelona.

Pjanic expressed his delight with the switch and tweeted he will give everything for his new team.
