The Centres for Disease Control (CDC) in the US has expanded the symptoms of the Coronavirus to cover another 5 list. The CDC said chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache and a sore throat are new symptoms of the novel Coronavirus.

Some of the previous symptoms of the virus are fever, cough, shortness of breathing or difficulty breathing but the CDC, doctors and researchers believe there are more symptoms.

The new symptoms as well as the old ones begin to show by two weeks after infection or exposure to the virus.

The CDC also said a lot of people who tested positive for the Coronavirus also experienced loss of taste and smell and they believe those could be other signs of the virus.

According to USA Today, doctors have identified a new symptom of the Coronavirus called the “COVID toes.” The new symptom although not confirmed by the CDC is frequently seen in children and young adults who are asymptomatic to the virus.

The symptom could be seen as blue or purple lesions on the fees and toes of patients and is usually painful to touch.

The Chief of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine said “COVID toes” might be the first clue that an asymptomatic person has contracted the Coronavirus.
