He has showered praises to the medical staff who took care of him while at Royal Free Hospital, President Akuffo Addo, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, his family, well-wishers and all those who said a prayer for him.

“Words cannot express the depth of our gratitude and I am fortunate to know that I have the concern of each and every one of you,” he said.

The Commissioner in his recovery statement acknowledged the devastating effect the pandemic has had on world economies and the lives of persons across the globe.

However, “I remain optimistic and I strongly believe that the U.K and Ghana, and the rest of the world will overcome this virus.”

It is good news for Ghana.
