All people infected with Covid-19 who were treated at the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga have recovered and been released.
According to Dickson Baba Nsoh, a clinical psychologist at a regional hospital, more than 10 people were treated and sent back to their homes, even though those who were treated at home were not included.
“I don’t want to give statistics because when it comes to Covid-19 there is someone who has to do this, but more than 10 people have been released,” the clinical psychologist said.
Mr. Nsoh revealed this during the stigma training organized by the National Commission for Political Education (NCCE) in Bolgatanga.
So far, the Upper East region has recorded 26 confirmed Covid-19 cases with two deaths.
Previously, the first pregnant woman who tested positive for the virus was treated and released.
This is a piece of good news for Ghana, we hope the other facilites will achieve such a feat as well.
