Popular Country music singer Alan Jackson revealed plans to play two outdoor concerts for fans in Alabama next week. Fans will be allowed at the event so long as they stay in their cars.

Alan Jackson announced early this week, that the concerts will be in the form of a “small town drive-in” in Cullman, Alabama on June 5 and Fairhope, Alabama on June 6.

Jackson who has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide wrote on twitter: “Just announced – Small Town Drive-in June 5 & 6th! Tickets onsale May 27th 10am CST! Fan Club Presale starts today at 5pm. More details at AlanJacksonDriveIn.com #AJDriveIn

About 2,000 vehicles will be admitted to the show and will abide by Alabama and CDC health guidelines. Parking spaces will be allocated to attendees through direct mobile orders.

Ticket prices range from $99.99 for vehicles with two passengers while additional passenger tickets will be available for $39.99. VIP parking tickets will sell at $199.99 onwards. Tickets are expected to go on sale on Wednesday at 10.am on AlanJacksonDriveIn.com

Alan Jackson announced that parts of the profits from the concert will go to aid food relief efforts in the states.

The country star is the latest to join the few list of musicians like TobyMac and Michael W. Smith who are finding innovative ways to play shows for fans during the Coronavirus pandemic. Michael Smith is playing a concert at Williamson County Ag Expo Park on May 30 at $40 per car.
