Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus is determined to be ‘a proper striker’ like Sergio Aguero and says he will learn to achieve that feet.
Aguero, who’s scoring prowess has reflected in him being City’s all-time top goalscorer will leave the club at the end of the season.
And Gabriel Jesus admits Aguero is a proper striker more than he is and he will learn to score more goals like the Argentine.
The 23-year-old Brazilian has failed to live up to his impressive first season(2016/17) stats at City scoring 13 goals in 19 appearances however he has managed 28 goals from 44 starts from the two-and-a-half seasons since.
Jesus told Sky Sports News: “I can learn a little bit [from him] but he’s more properly striker than me, he scored more than me.”
“He goes on the pitch and he scores, he’s more striker than me, I can say that because I work with him every day and I play a lot with him.
“When we play together i score one, he scores two, I score two and he scores three. I think I’m going to learn a lot in these next years to become a proper striker who scores a lot.”
