Bayern Munich coach has responded to Ghanaian defender Jonathan Aidoo’s dream of playing for the Bavarians in the near future.
Aidoo who plays for Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo dreams of following the footsteps of his idol Samuel Osei-Kuffour who played for Bayern Munich.
Jonathan Aidoo explained to Joy Sports why he believes he will play for with the Bundesliga giants in the future.
“I chose Sammy Kuffour as my mentor because for me I think I will be playing for Bayern Munich in the future and he has been there,” said Aidoo.
“And that is why I am always looking up to him and he has made a good impact on the football world. When I was a kid, Bayern was the club that touched my heart and that is why I admire them.”
Aidoo who formerly played for Inter Allies also reveled how he has been following the Bundesliga giants.
“I do watch their [Bayern Munich] games and even sometimes I go to their website to watch some clips and stuff.”
Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick when asked about his opinion on Aidoo’s desire to play for the club told Sport 1 as reported on myjoyonline.com: “There are many players who would like to play for FC Bayern. If he has the appropriate aptitudes and qualities, then I do think that he would be considered.”
