Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama eyes winning the CAF Champions League and many more domestic titles with Asante Kotoko.
The 28-year-old arrived on Monday to begin his acreer with the Porcupine Warriors after agreeing on a two-year deal with the club in October.
Gama started training and has admitted that he is not in full fitness as he has been out of action for over five months.
Speaking with Connect FM, Kotoko’s new signing said: “I will train individually for now because I’m not 100 per cent fit. But as soon as I get ready, then I will start training with the first team.”
The midfielder added that his aim is not just to play but also win titles both domestic and continental.
“I’m being frank, I want to be a champion here. I didn’t come here just to play but to be a winner – to win domestic titles and CAF Champions League with Asante Kotoko.
“I can now play 15, 20, 30 minutes for the meantime and hope to be fit to help my teammates have a great season.”
The Brazilian has been without a club since March 2020 after leaving Swedish club Jönköpings Södra IF.
Kotoko started their Ghana Premier League season with a 1-1drae to Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium.
