American Rapper, Actor and Filmmaker, O’Shea Jackson popularly known as Ice Cube has asked to pay for items stolen in a Florida Walmart during a George Floyd protest in the State.

Surveillance footage showed scores of George Floyd protesters breaking into the Walmart store and making away with hundreds of merchandise.

Reacting to the development, the rapper took to twitter to announce that he is ready to pay for the items if no one will be arrested in connection with the looting.

He wrote: “No arrest and I’ll cover the $100k. Deal?” The merchandise has been valued at $100,000.

Meanwhile, the Florida governor in a tweet in early June said the State is will not tolerate “violence, rioting and looting. He said he regrets Floyd’s killing but it can’t be used as a pretext for destruction.

“Florida has zero tolerance for violence, rioting & looting. George Floyd’s murder was appalling & the MN perpetrators need to be brought to justice, but this cannot be used as a pretext for violence in our communities. I thank local leaders for their efforts to keep FL safe,” Governor Ron DeSantis tweeted.

George Floyd was killed on May 25 in Minneapolis, Minnesota after a cop knelt on his neck while he begged for breath for almost 9 minutes. His death has sparked widespread protests in the USA and several major cities in the world.
