‘There was a child there who saved pinching my leg, combating for his life. We waited to be rescued for 15-20 minutes on this loopy, horrible crush. it was terrible.’

‘A policeman pulled me out,’ Meir, who was calmly injured, mentioned from his hospital mattress. ‘He protected me and made certain I’d not be trampled on till I used to be evacuated.’

‘It felt like an eternity, the useless had been throughout us.’

One other survivor, Zohar, informed Channel 12: ‘We had been strolling out, all the pieces was flowing, immediately it stopped.

‘Everybody was pressed up towards one another and we didn’t perceive why. I lifted up my head and I noticed police blocking the doorway, I shouted to them ‘individuals are dying right here.”

‘Individuals misplaced the colour of their faces. I used to be beneath the bleachers, I attempted to go up towards all of the chaos after I heard banging above, thud, thud, and folks shouting ‘escape, escape, individuals are dying.”

‘Individuals fell from above and crushed one another, they squashed one another. individuals simply fell, I’ll always remember the banging sounds, individuals flying throughout.’
