Former South African President, Jacob Zuma upon charges of corruption was asked to step down by his people after incessant pressure on him and so he obliged in February 2018.

Investigations of corruption at the court have been on-going up till now, he however recently did not turn up at the court for further inquiry and the court has ordered to sentence him for 15 months for lying to absent himself on Tuesday.

According to sources, Jacob Zuma’s lawyers have filed for the 15 months sentence to be reviewed and rescinded today Friday, July 2,2021.

Well, the Ex-President is really in for legal battle. This serve as a disincentive for other African leaders to wake up and say no to corruption in their tenure.
