Senior Ghanaian journalist and editor of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako has called the speech made by the Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama a “political speech”.
Speaking this morning on Joy News political talk show, the News file program, the seasoned journalist said the former President instead of acting reaponsibly, played on the “keyboards of his party supporters”.
Refering to the former president, Kweku Baako said, when he listened to the speech, he was hearing “the politician in him, not the former president in him”.
He said the speech was full of conspiracy theories which the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wants Ghanaians to believe. According to him, the NDC has been inconsistent in presenting its case right from the onset of the legal battle.
Reacting to the ruling and the later reaction of some members of the NDC, Kweku Baako said the lawyers of the party failed to do their job.
“There are fine lawyers in the party including Dr Ayine but I think they didn’t take their time going through the Supreme court ruling,” Kweku Baako said on News file.
