The Polish international suffered the injury while on international duty in their game against Andorra and was replaced right after the hour mark.

In a statement on the club’s Twitter account, Bayern Munich wrote: “Robert Lewandowski has suffered sprained ligaments in his right knee. The striker will be out for around four weeks.”

This means the 32-year-old will miss both of Bayern’s  Champions League quarter-final tie against PSG which will be played on April 7 and 13.

Bayern will miss their prolific striker who has been sensational again this season having scored 42 goals already in all competitions.
