Madagascar herbal medicine is gradually being accepted since it began to be efficacious in the cure of COVID-19 in the country. A lot of African countries are gradually declaring and attracted to buying the medicine because coronavirus is causing more havoc in Africa too and must be rooted out even though it has not been clinically approved by drug boards now but undergoing through the certification stages.
In view of that Madagascar is building a factory estimated to be completed in one month to be able to produce the COVID-19 on a large scale. The factory commences operation immediately after completion in one month. The medicine is referred to as COVID-Organics which contains extracts of the artemisia annua plant, which is used to treat malaria.
“Our researchers and scientists are doing the necessary to make our coronavirus remedy a drug that meets the standards,” President Andry Rajoelina said on state TV.
The president of Tanzania, John Magufuli, has said he’s sending a plane to Madagascar to fetch the tonic, and Rajoelina said on Twitter that Equatorial Guinea’s vice minister for health had arrived in the country to procure an unknown quantity. Other countries that have shown interest are Congo, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, and Comoros, etc. Rajoelina said.
