“If you make the Most High your dwelling–even the LORD, who is my refuge– then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he’ll command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Ps.91:9-11
Since we’re connected to Him in a covenant, He’ll remain committed to us. Because we love Him, He won’t leave us. As we can’t do away with troubles, we need not throw away our trust in Jehovah when trouble looms. The cure for our fears in times of crisis is our confidence in the faithfulness of God. May God heal the wounded, hold the weak and weary, and help the worried. Fear not, God will help. Shalom.
“Don’t call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; don’t fear what they fear, and don’t dread it. The LORD Almighty is the one you’re to regard as holy, he is the one you’re to fear, he is the one you’re to dread.” Is.8:12-13
Don’t entertain any fears no matter the enormity of the challenges ahead. Fear magnifies obstacles and minimizes opportunities. It reminds of setbacks more than stepping stones. It takes your eyes off your potentials and set them on your problems. Fear intimidates, faith inspires. Have faith in God, He is still God, and He is able to protect. No fears. May God protect you. Shalom.
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is there anything too hard for me?” Jer.32:27
The disturbing, dreadful and dangerous nature of our crises does not rule out the power of God in any way. Instead of being panicky, let’s be praying. He will answer. Nothing is too difficult for the Lord. As we can’t deny the intensity of the problem, so should we never deny the immensity of God’s power to help us out. Fear not. God is able. Remain protected. Shalom.
