The horrifying second a virtually five-metre-long saltwater crocodile snapped up a big turtle has been captured on video.
The footage was taken from a mustering helicopter simply south from the mouth of the Daintree River in far north Queensland.
The crocodile was seen swimming about half a kilometre from the shore when it was seen by Brian Bartlett.
Mr Bartlett captured the video and shared it to a group Fb web page the place he warned locals in regards to the sighting.
