The minister of information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has added his voice to the current security threats posed by the secessionists’ group, the Homeland Foundation study Foundation calling on the people in the areas where the attacked was launched to cooperate, collaborate and provide information as much as necessary to help the security agencies to thwarts these perpetrators.

He made these statement in one of the media houses in Accra where he was questioned on the activities of these separatists monitored by and the following was his exact words;

“Having dealt with the initial events of Friday and as the security agencies continue to deal with the current outstanding threats, what we would have to do would be to appeal to people in these areas to cooperate with the security agencies to provide them with the information and intelligence that they need to continuously thwart the efforts of these persons,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Nyamah has asked the government to classify the separatists as domestic terrorists that must be punished.
