Manchester City were victorious over Mauricio Pochettino’s side PSG in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
And Pep Guardiola has asked his boys not to be shy in the return fixture at the Etihad following their 2-1 victory at Parc des Princes.
PSG took the lead after their skipper Marquinhos headed one into the net for a deserved lead before De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez turned things around for City in the second half.
History has it that no English side has lost a Champions League knockout game having won the first leg on 47 occasions as and Guardiola had a clear message for his players to reach the club’s first Champions League final.
“If we play shy and not who we are, then anything can happen as they have the quality to turn it around,” he told Sky Sports.
“But if we play with quality like we did in the second half maybe we’ll have the chance to reach the final.
