The ministry has stressed on the fact that restaurants can only operate takeaways and delivery services to their customers.

In a press release by the Ghana Tourism Authority, restaurants and eateries will be allowed to operate dine-in if the “appropriate protocols for social distancing and hygiene” are followed accordingly.

Restaurants must also ensure that “no more than 25 people can eat at the same time on their premises”.

“All hotels can work normally and receive guests according to certain protocols to improve hygiene and social distancing,” according to Tourism Authority.

However, the ministry warned the general public that all of these guidelines are null and void as “their circular replaced those issued by regulators.”

They also stressed that all beverage bars and night clubs must remain closed until further notice.
