The biggest royal wedding arguably, happened on the 19th of May, 2018. The wedding that had a lot of people in attendance with millions watching across the world was held between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry who became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
On the memorable day, the Black American who became the Duchess of Sussex decided to wear a beautiful Claire Waight Keller designed dress. Claire is the artistic Director of Givenchy, her dress is certainly not questionable.
According to reports, Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had an issue with the bateau necklined white dress. The Queen didn’t have an issue with the designer nor the dress itself but the color of it.
Being a divorcee, you would have thought that Meghan Markle would have chosen a color that suits but she rather opted for pure white wedding dress , a color a royal source told The Mail on Sunday that the Queen had a problem with.
“The Queen is said to have expressed surprise that Meghan, a divorcee, wore quite such a white dress for her wedding,” the source told the Mail.
The source said the Queen herself found Megan’s choice questionable because the Duchess to be was divorced before meeting Prince Harry.
