Tottenham Hotspur interim manager Ryan Mason has revealed that he’s not aware that Harry Kane has asked to leave the club.
The England international has told Spurs that he wants to leave in the summer as reported earier on Monday.
But interim boss Ryan Mason who also happened to be Kane’s former teammate says he does not know whether a conversation of such nature has taken place.
He told Sky Sports ahead of their clash with Aston Villa on Wednesday: “Not that I’m aware. The conversations I’ve had with Harry have been about the game the other day and also preparing for the game tomorrow. I don’t know.”
Manchester City, Man United and Chelsea alerted to the situation have contacted Kane’s representatives according to Sky Sports to attempt to sign the 27-year-old.
Spurs will host Aston Villa on Wednesday with the club missing out on Champions League qualification for a second consecutive season, while Europa League football is not assured ahead of their final two games to end the season.
