Dancehall musician Stonebwoy shows his displeasure with VGMA board after they lifted the ban on him and Shatta Wale.
VGMA placed a ban Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to prevent them from taking part in the awards event in 2019 after a misunderstanding between the two on stage.
They lifted the ban after they had a meeting but Stonebwoy is not happy with the board.
He took to his Twitter page to show his displeasure about their move.
According to him, the board should have met with them or their reps before taking such decision that affected them.
He believes the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards board should have consulted them before placing the ban on them but rather they heard the news on social media.
He said they should have given them a fair hearing before coming out with the information.
“Dear VGMA Board & Scheme organisers,I hear the purpose of the VGMA is to celebrate and project Ghanaian musicians and music. If that is so, it takes nothing from you to meet with us the artistes/ our reps b4 reaching decisions that affect us and communicating them to the public.”
He added that God listened to Adam and Eve before reaching a decision about them so they should have done same.
