The Deputy Minister of Finance Ghana, Abena Osei-Asare has hinted the media that her ministry is putting up information together with the stakeholders on tax waiver and Exemption to be presented to parliament to pass Tax Exemption Bill by the end of the year, 2021.

Additionally, this would encourage private and foreign investors to invest in Ghana and encourage more foreign Direct Investment when approved by parliament.

The Deputy Minister, Abena Osei-Asare,  says this when she granted interview to JoyNews“; the bill when passed would assist in achieving the revenue target without necessarily having to increase taxes in the course of the year.“We realized we needed to engage more of our stakeholders in putting the bill together.
