‘Fix the country’ campaign in Ghana has made impact and a number of celebrities have said their opinions. Lydia Forson is not an exception who has put on her social media walls her opinion which seeks to portray that our individual attitudes is crucial but systems must work first in Ghana because systems impact attitudes positively.
Afia Schwarzenegar and David Osei say Ghanaians should fix our attitudes and mindset first whiles Kwaw Kesse says the leaders must fix the country first. A host of other celebrities have also expressed their opinions on the subject matter ‘Fix the Country’.
She wrote these on her social media walls;
I’ve said it many times that our attitudes have been a major contributing factor to our lack of development.
But as I mature, reflect and look around I’ve come to learn and appreciate that the major problem isn’t the people, but the systems that enable the dysfunction.
Instead of countering and attacking each other and allowing politicians to use us to score points; this should be seen as a great opportunity for a much needed dialogue to move us forward.
The youth are waking up, listening and recognize that there’s something wrong; they may not have all the answers and appreciate all the nuances surrounding this conversation but their ATTENTION is a major step in the right direction.
We can either fight each other, or unite to fight together to make this country better.
It’s all up to you…”
3. Yes when they leave they adopt because there is a police Officer who has a change of mind to make the system work the people in charge of traffic light are not sleeping on the job. The people handling the system are up to date doing their job. But what do we see here mum. There is an MCE and DCE who are sleeping on the job Civil servants who are not serious with their work. The one to supervise the system is even not on duty. Hmmmm Mother Ghana yes the system must but my question is what is the system, this system koraaa who is he? You and I The one who formulate the Policy, the one who executive it and the one who enforce it. Must Respect 🙌🙌
