Sportsmail reports that the lost to West Ham which has left them just three points above the drop zone made the club officials infuriated and they decided to relieve Pearson of his duties on Sunday.

The Hornets still run risk of relegation with their last two games against Manchester City and Mikel Arteta’s firing Arsenal.

West Ham’s win over the Hornets moves the three points above them a game which was crucial for Pearson’s side.

The club officials are believed to be infuriated after their lacklustre performance against West Ham

Watford’s poor performance against The Hammers has left many in an awe conceding two goals inside  10 minutes into the game.

Pearson since taking over in December has won 7 of his 22 matches in charge and Watford finds themselves in the bottom three of the table.

His management sae things overturn at the Vicarage Road Stadium until they got drowned to the battle of relegation.
