Mensah Thompson the Executive Director of ASEPA has during an interview at Power FM 97.9FM called for the president to call for the dismissal and prosecution of the Awutu Efutu Senya East MP Hawa Koomson.

The call for the removal of the member of parliament comes after she was spotted shooting a gun at a polling station claiming she did in a self-defense against people who came at her.

According to Mensa Thompson, the president must use her as a “scapegoat” to show every Ghanaian that they are not above the law and can be prosecuted if they flout the laws of the country.

He further went ahead to state that if the president fails to listen to his plea, they would all go to the registration centers with guns in their pockets.

“We want Mr. President to take immediate action against Hawa Koomson for shooting at Kasoa to serve as a strong warning to all that nobody is above the law or else we are all going to the voting centers with guns in our pocket because we are all going to defend ourselves”, He said.
