West Ham are interested in signing Bournemouth forward Josh King.
The main transfer window across Europe has closed but domestic wimdow between Premier League and EFL clubs remains open until October 16.
Bournemouth since their relegation from the Premier League last season have already lost most of their player. Nathan Ake made a £45m move to Manchester City, Aaron Ramsdale made a return to Sheffield United whilst Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson joined Newcastle United.
On the possible depature list is Josh King with West Ham notably the favourites to land the signature of the striker. It is said the Bournemouth would want £18m for the Norwegian.
The 28-year-old netted six goals for the Cherries in the Premier League last season and was linked to former club Manchester United on deadline day in the January window.
Manchester United made a £20m offer for King which Bournemouth rejected but they did not submit any subsequent bid.
United ended up signing Odion Ighalo on loan from Shanghai Shenhua.
Josh King has scored 50 goals for Bournemouth in 167 appearances and was also linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur before they signed Vinicius from Benfica on a season-long loan.
King’s contract with the a Cherries is due to expire in the summer of 2021.
